I completed 11 signature assignments - significant papers with original ideas. In one paper, I foresaw specific problems at a major company. In another, I designed a study (with statistical analyses) to explain why videos do not significantly enhance or improve online reviews. I worked alone. Technical Writer

  Sometime ago, I considered applying for Technical Writing roles so I could have a lucrative side job while I work on completing my PhD. I applied for several jobs but did not obtain a position. I am very surprised by the number of people who are either already in a Technical Writer role or seeking to obtain a Technical Writer position. Apparently, even software developers are looking to move into the Technical Writer role. There is a lot of competition.
