Academic Writing

Interesting post from LinkedIn.com....

(Link: Jason Thatcher on LinkedIn: Academic writing as craft)

The post included a link to a blog post on academic writing.

Excerpt from included blog post:

The blog post explained that it takes a long time to master writing. Deliberate practice can lead to mastery in a shorter time.

My comment:

I created this blog to capture my thoughts and ideas and to practice writing. Why practice writing? I was on a break from my PhD and not writing much. I needed to continue writing regularly - I wrote and submitted weekly assignments/papers.
I also track my mental health using this blog.

I am currently working on publishing my papers in academic journals. Click the ‘paperforpublishing’ label/tag in the Labels section below for my last status update. Usability/user experience is one of my topics. Click on the 'usability' label/tag to view my posts, including ideas, on usability. I have new ideas you may be interested in. If you are here for information on my success research, click on the 'success' label. If you are here for information on my hometown, click on the 'lindenguyana' label. If you are curious about my choices about God, click on the 'WhyGodForever' label.

I welcome comments. Submit your comments and feedback at any time. I prefer that you use Facebook for comments, but feel free to comment in any of the blogs or on Twitter.
