Is there a need to think through everything you are told? Is there a place for 'taking things at face value' ?
In my opinion, people and places are a lot more complicated. A simple example is my name. Fahmeena Odetta Moore seems Indian or even Muslim but I am neither Indian nor Muslim. I am Black - I wear braids in my hair sometimes. I am from a country, though, where there is much mixing of the 6 races. I have eyes that look a little Chinese.
